Instalación y Visuales (Proyecto Ataw Allpa)

visuals and installations

Ucronias Proyect

The development of the Ucronian installation goes through the study of the writings and illustrations of Guaman Poma de Ayala, who was a Quechua nobleman known for chronicling and denouncing the ill treatment of the natives of the Andes by the Spanish after their conquest.

The installation makes a call to remember the wounds that the Conquest left for our ancestors, leading us to almost forget complete our traditions, cosmology and thoughts.

Proyecto Atawallpa

Electronic mestizo music. His songs use melodies that recall Latin American country music themes. Powerful bases inherited from the Global Bass, dark and bright vocals sung over synthetic harmonies and a diatonic accordion played live. They are the elements of a danceable Live Act in its entirety, which oscillates between Andean Downtempo and Amazonian Trance taken to the dance floor. It is inspired by traditional rhythms such as San Juanito, Bomba del Valle, Nampet Shuar, Classic Cumbia, Forró and Carimbó; rhythms that power with sound elements taken from Psy Trance, House, Moombathon and Tecnobrega.
