TZANTZA  (CABEZA REDUCIDA)

Práctica milenaria realizada por la tribu ancestral amazónica Shuar del  Ecuador.

 El Ritual de Tzantza   es el proceso de reducción de una cabeza humana,  acompañada de cánticos y rituales de toda la comunidad que van doblegando el poder del alma del enemigo del cual fue decapitado y así asegurar el control de su espíritu y obediencia al  guerrero victorioso.

The Tzanza ritual is the process of reducing the size of a human head. As part of this ritual the community joins together with chants to submit the power within the soul of the enemy, who was decapitated to assure the control over his spirit and his obedience to the victorious warrior.
